MIDLANDS GIVES DAY IS MAY 6 -- Thursday April 24th, 2025

Save the Strays is again participating in Midlands Gives Day, held the first Tuesday in May. This fundraiser is like Giving Tuesday for nonprofits in central South Carolina - except you can donate right now through early giving. This year, we're trying to raise $3,500, all of which will go toward veterinary services, food, medications and other necessities for the dogs we rescue. Save the Strays earns Candid Gold Seal of Transparency -- Thursday April 24th, 2025

Save the Strays recently earned its 2025 GOLD Transparency Seal with Candid (formerly Guidestar). Candid provides up-to-date information on programs, results and leadership for more than 1.8 million IRS-recognized tax-exempt organizations to help individuals channel their charitable donations to groups that match their values.
