Furry & Bright Fundraiser -- Tuesday December 6th, 2022

Our annual holiday fundraising campaign is now in full swing. Will you help us raise the funds we need to rescue more dogs in 2023?

Contrary to what some people believe, nonprofit rescues don't get free services from veterinarians, pet food stores or other suppliers. And it costs a lot of money to get our dogs ready for adoption, as well as provide ongoing care for our sanctuary dogs. For example:

  • A routine veterinary exam with vaccines, fecal and heartworm tests costs $125 - more if a dog needs blood tests.
  • A simple neuter typically costs $175, while a spay can run $250 or more.
  • Dentistry - often needed by older dogs - can total $300 or more, depending on how many teeth need to be removed.
  • And emergency/specialty veterinary services and medications can run into the thousands.

Please consider making a one-time or recurring monthly donation to our rescue using this link:

Thank you, and happy holidays!
