Hi, there! My name is ATTICUS. I’m a Catahoula cur, sometimes known as a Catahoula leopard dog because of my spots. If you’re not familiar with the breed, we’re known to be gentle, intelligent and loving. Although I’m handsome, I’m not at all vain. I’m just a down to earth guy who’s looking for someone who will return all the love I’m ready to lavish on them. Whatever you want to do, wherever you want to go, I’ll be right there with you, if you’ll let me. I’m just two years old, so I have lots of get up and go. But I’m also content to just hang out with you, if you’re having a lazy day. And I only weigh 45 lbs., so I don’t take up a lot of space. I’m told I’m heartworm positive, but I don’t have any clinical signs, so I lead a normally active life while getting the “slow kill” treatment. I’m bunking in a foster home right now, but I hope someone will adopt me and give me a fur-ever home soon. My adoption fee is just $150.
