A LITTLE BUNDLE OF AWESOME! Meet TUFFY, an adorable mix of dachshund, yorkie and Chihuahua. Born in early September, this sweet little boy weighs under 5 lbs. right now and will likely weigh less than 10 lbs. at maturity. So, if you’re looking for a lap puppy that will remain a lap dog as an adult, Tuffy (or his siblings, Moushu, Pickles and Buttons) are a good choice. At this age, though, puppies need a lot of attention, handling and care. We’re looking for adopters who have that kind of time to devote to a pup – preferably a home where one of the adults doesn’t work or works only part-time or the adults work different hours. Ideally, a pup this age should not be left alone more than 3 to 4 hours at a stretch. Also, Tuffy isn’t old enough yet to house train, so be prepared to clean up a lot. Tuffy’s adoption fee is $125. There’s also a $75 neuter deposit, which we will refund when his adopters have him neutered at six to eight months of age, as required by our contract.
