Jack is a 2-year-old, 12-lb., paraplegic corgi mix currently at Magley Animal Hospital in Westminster, SC. The folks at the animal hospital weren’t able to do anything about his paralyzed back legs, but they neutered and vaccinated him and restored him to good health. He has tested negative for heartworms. Jack loves being close to people and will just quietly sit next to you or in your lap as long as you will let him. He also enjoys curling up in his bed, and playing with a squeaky toy. Jack has a canine cart to help him get around on carpet, tile, grass, etc. If your house doesn’t have a ramp, he can easily be carried outdoors for a stroll in his cart. Jack does need an adopter who can express his bladder  2 or 3 times a day. This takes only a few minutes and isn’t difficult, but must be done on a regularly to prevent urinary and kidney infections. The folks at Magley Animal Hospital can show you how to do it, and there are also videos on YouTube for viewing at home.
