POCKET ROCKET! Julio is a 4-1/2 lb. dynamo. This tiny chihuahua’s antics will keep you laughing all day. He loves to wrestle, race and chase, and play tug-of-war with his brother Luka, then stretch out on your lap for a long nap. Julio was born January 21, so he’s just a young pup. That means he needs an adopter who can spend lots of time handling, training and playing with him – a household where there’s an adult who doesn't work, is retired, works only part-time, or the adults work different shifts – so that he’ll grow up to be a confident, well behaved adult. That won’t happen if he’s left alone for more than 2 to 3 hours a day. We're also looking for a household that doesn't have children under age 10, not only because young children also require a lot of attention, but because Julio’s small size and delicate build make him vulnerable to injury if he is unintentionally handled roughly or improperly. Because Julio is too young to neuter before adoption, we also require a $75 neuter deposit, which we will refund when his adopter has him neutered.
