Foster mom Kim says Homer is the best lab a pet owner could ask for! While he likes a good game of retrieving ball and an occasional swim to cool off, his favorite pastime is lying at your feet or following you around the house or yard. Homer is calm, gentle, and very loyal. He is housebroken, walks well on a leash, rides in the car, is accustomed to staying in a crate, and gets along with other dogs and cats. If you're primarily looking for a playmate for your current dog - one who constantly wants to play with another pet - or if you work long hours and will leave Homer at home waiting for you, you should probably consider another dog because Homer really wants to be with a human and has jumped a fence and pushed open doors just to follow his foster mom Kim. (He doesn't run away, though; just wants to follow her around.) If you love the Labrador breed and aren't constantly gone from home, Homer might be a good choice for you. More pictures will be posted soon, but these two photos show Homer waiting to retrieve a ball from the pond.
