LITTLE LOVE BUG. Jonah was born around mid- October 2013. He needs an adopter who can spend a lot of time introducing him to new people, places and situations so that he grows into a confident, well-adjusted adult dog. This is the time to start crate-training in preparation for house training, as well. We're looking for an adopter who is either home a lot or a family with staggered schedules, because he needs a bathroom break every 3 to 4 hours, lots of attention, handling and socialization. Please note: we will not adopt a puppy this age to applicants with children under the age of 7 because both puppies and children require a lot of time and attention. Understandably, children get the lion's share, possibly to the pup's detriment. Also, younger children are still learning how to interact with animals, and busy parents can't supervise those interactions 24/7. Grooming needs: Minimal. Jonah has a medium rough coat. Low shed.

Bark factor: Barks when other dogs bark or when playing; otherwise, relatively quiet. May cry through the night for the first week or so after separation from his siblings.

Behavioral issues: Still a little shy with strangers; other wise, normal puppy behaviors.

Favorite activities: Playing, eating, running with the pack. Loves toys!
