GENTLE GIANT. Three-year-old Sophie has impeccable house manners and requires surprisingly little exercise. After a 15-minute romp with the other dogs here, her favorite activity is stretching out on the carpet or couch for a nap. True to her breed, Sophie will bark an alert if someone approaches, but is otherwise quiet and friendly. She will come over and bump your arm when she wants to be petted. Sophie came from a family with small children and has done well with other dogs of all sizes at Save the Strays. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm-negative and on prevention. A good vet reference and fenced yard are requirements for adoption.
