MR. STUBBS is a personable, short-legged Jack Russell terrier. He's a good watch dog and protective when strangers first come in the door. Once they acknowledge him, he is fine with them, but he needs some work on this behavior. Because of this, we are seeking a home without children for him, as well as adopters who will work with him or call in a trainer. Stubby loves to be petted and snuggle on the sofa with you, and he will give kisses in return. He gets along well with other dogs and will race and play with others who enjoy that. He looks like he had a rough start in life (has some scars on his face and rear leg), but we hope to find him a home where he'll be well loved and safe for the rest of his life. Good references and a fenced yard required.
