Hello there! My name is Black Jack. I was born on May 6, and I'm looking for a forever home! Here are some things you should know about me.

Personality: I'm outgoing, playful, and full of energy. Give me some toys and watch me go! If you're up for it, I'll play tug-of-war with you, and I'm also learning to fetch. And while I'm always up for a good romp and play session, don't worry. I also adore snuggling up for some quality cuddle time. If you need some time to yourself, I'm also happy hanging out in my crate.

I love to explore and discover new things, so you have to keep an eye on me to make sure I don’t chew something I shouldn’t. Short training sessions are a great way to engage and bond with me. I'm pretty smart, so I catch on quickly. You can start by teaching me to sit and walk on leash. I'm already doing well with house training. I'm not 100% yet, but I'm getting there!

Ideal Home: I'm looking for a home with people who can shower me with love and attention and won't be away for more than about 4-5 hours at a time. I'm still learning about the world, so I need help with socialization—introducing me to new people, places, and experiences – so I can grow into a confident adult.

Compatibility: A home with another dog would be great - especially a well behaved adult that can serve as a role model. A cat or kitten would probably be okay too, if they keep their claws in! As for children, since I still jump up and can be kind of squirmy when I get excited, I’d do best in a home with older kiddos - ages 8 and up should be just fine.
