Are you ready for endless puppy kisses, playtime galore, and a furry friend who's bursting with energy? Look no further than Baxter, a charming 7-month-old dachshund dynamo!

Baxter is the epitome of zest for life. With boundless enthusiasm for everything from chasing toys to exploring the great outdoors, he's always up for an adventure. Whether it's a game of fetch or a race around the backyard, Baxter is your go-to companion for all things active and fun.

Speaking of backyards, Baxter needs a forever home with a fenced yard where he can stretch his little legs to his heart's content. It's the perfect setting for him to unleash his playful spirit and indulge in his favorite pastime: running and romping around.

But Baxter isn't just about high-octane activities. He's also a social butterfly who gets along famously with other dogs. Quite the unique character, he has also befriended his foster mom's pet rooster, so he would probably be fine with cats, as well. Talk about versatile!

Although Baxter is high-energy, he's mindful of his manners and is housetrained, with the added bonus of knowing how to use a dog door like a pro. And when the day's adventures wind down, Baxter transforms into the ultimate cuddle bug. He adores snuggling up with his human for some quality downtime, especially before bedtime.

One of Baxter's most endearing qualities is his ability to "talk" to you, although he's not one to bark incessantly or whine for attention. It's just his way of charming you with his delightful personality and making sure you're always in on the conversation!

While Baxter is great with children, we’re looking for a home with kids ages 8 or older, considering dachshunds' susceptibility to back injuries. As for furry siblings, Baxter would do best with younger adult dogs who can match his energy levels, as senior pups might find his exuberance a bit overwhelming.

If you're searching for a spirited sidekick that’s equal parts playful and affectionate, look no further than Baxter. Already neutered and up to date on vaccinations, Baxter’s adoption fee is just $300. Don’t miss out on this adorable dachshund! Email us for an application.
