This approximately 6-month-old kitten is a stray living outdoors near Bethune, SC, where he is being fed and has a straw-filled box to sleep in. Although Save the Strays is a dog rescue, we are trying to find a home for him. He's shy around strangers but follows the woman who feeds him like a dog, so we think he could make a good house cat. Kitty was neutered and vaccinated on March 24th. He did test positive for FeLV, but false positives are not uncommon. Nevertheless, we would recommend that his adopter get a PCR test done to confirm or discount his FeLV status. If positive, he can still live a full, healthy life.
