 AVAILABLE TO ADOPT OR FOSTER. Jenny is an outgoing, affectionate young Walker hound who enjoys hugs and being petted, taking walks on leash and snoozing on the couch. She is a scent hound, so she could probably be trained to be a hunting dog. But because she's so well house-trained and so darn sociable (plus she hates going out in the rain), she makes a much better house dog. Jenny is under 2 years old, so she could grow up with your kids! She's vaccinated, spayed and in overall good health, although she did test positive for heartworms. She is currently receiving the so-called 'slow kill' heartworm protocol (intermittent courses of doxycycline plus monthly heartworm prevention). We'll be glad to provide more information on heartworms and heartworm treatment. Jenny's adoption fee is just $150. She's also available to foster, if you're not ready to give a dog a forever home and live within 75 miles of our location.
