SWEET, SMART AND PLAYFUL. Zara is an 18-month-old mix of beagle and Jack or Parson Russell terrier (sometimes called a Jackabee). At 22 lbs, she’s a great size for home or apartment. Zara is already house- and leash-trained and energetic enough to be a great walking or hiking companion, but she will cuddle up with you on the couch with you when you’re ready to relax. Zara gets along with other dogs and has been friendly and outgoing with all the humans she’s met while in our care. If you’re looking for a great family dog, Zara may be the one! Adoption fee $300.
