This little dude is ANGUS, a one-year-old, 11.5 lb. Scottish terrier mix. Angus showed up at our groomer's door during a thunderstorm. He had no ID or microchip, and a month of posting on social media (with over 300 shares) produced no owner, so he came into our rescue. Angus is quite a character. He's energetic, playful, cuddly and can jump almost 4 feet in the air from a standing position! Our groomer says he LOVES children, including toddlers as young as 3, but chases cats and chickens, so he needs a home with no cats or other small, furry/feathered pets. Angus gets along/plays with most of the other dogs here at the rescue, but he can be a bit bossy with dogs that are submissive. Angus has had his vet exam, vaccines and 4DX test (negative for heartworms and tick-borne diseases) and is in good health. His neuter is scheduled for August 2nd. Assuming no complications, he can go to his forever home as early as August 6th. If you would like to make this little guy a member of your family, email us for an application. Adoption fee $300.
