PUMPKIN is a Jack Russell terrier / Chihuahua mix born at our rescue on March 5. She's playful, athletic and ready for a home of her own.

Pumpkin is crate-trained, sleeping through most nights without an accident, and is making progress on house training. Her biggest need now is a home where she'll get more socialization and stimulation – exposure to lots of new people, places, sights, smells and sounds - because she's still shy with strangers. Once she gets to know you, she'll run up and jump on you, snuggle and give kisses. And, at just 10 lbs., she's a natural to become a lap dog. Another dog in the household would be a real confidence-booster for her.  

Pumpkin is up to date on vaccinations and will be spayed on September 21. She can go home about a week after that. Her adoption fee is $300. To apply for this delightful little pup, please email info@savethestrays.org for our application.
