Jack Russell Terrier / Mixed (short coat) : : Female (not spayed, but will be before adoption) : : Young : : Small
BROOKE is a Jack Russell terrier mix born at our rescue on March 5. She's playful, outgoing and ready for a home of her own. Brooke is old enough to begin crate and house training, but still needs frequent potty breaks. Socialization and stimulation – exposure to lots of new people, places, sights, smells and sounds – is also important at this age. For that reason, we’re looking for an adopter who won’t leave their pup alone for more than 4-5 hours at a time for the next few months and who can commit to giving her the attention, play, training and variety of experiences she needs to grow into a great adult dog. Ideal candidates are those who work from home, work only part-time, are retired or have a parent or spouse that is home while the applicant is at work. Another mature, well trained dog is a plus because they serve as wonderful role models for pups. Brooke had a complete series of “puppy” (DAPP) vaccinations, a rabies vaccine, has been wormed regularly and has received monthly heartworm, flea and tick prevention from the age of 8 weeks. Her adoption fee is $250. To apply, please email info@savethestrays.org for our application. More about BrookeGood with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids Video of Brooke:
