Many thanks to the Faber family of New Jersey for giving Candy a wonderful home. We're also grateful to private pilots Bill (North Carolina) and Tom (Maryland), of Pilots-N-Paws, for flying Candy from North Carolina to her adopters in New Jersey.

We found Candy wandering through a field, looking for food. This 18-month-old lab was in rough shape at intake - emaciated, her skin raw from flea and fire ant bites - but what a difference six weeks made. With good food and TLC, she filled out nicely, regained her coat and was running and romping with the other dogs at our rescue.
