SNUGGLE BUG. This little Chihuahua mix is BEVERLY. Although she is initially a little shy with strangers, she warms up fairly quickly. Once that happens, she will sit on your lap every chance she gets and give you kisses. Beverly is playful with other dogs and likes toys. She’s moderately active, but also enjoys snoozing on your lap or sitting next to you on the couch. Beverly is spayed, up to date on vaccines and in good health. Although she did test positive for heartworms, she is asymptomatic, so we’ve been treating her using a “slow kill” method, rather than immiticide injections. We will provide information on treatment options and would be happy to discuss them with applicants. Beverly is crate-trained, house-trained and leash-trained. We think she would do best in an adult-only household or one with older children or teenagers who won’t chase her.
