LOVE ME TENDER. WYATT is a 2-year-old miniature pinscher / chihuahua mix who may have had a rough start to life. When he came into rescue, he was thin, shied away when approached and hid at loud noises or fast movements. Now he’s filled out and has become much more social. He will cuddle on the couch and let you pick him up (unless he’s busy playing and doesn’t want to stop!). Wyatt enjoys playing with the other dogs in his size range here at the rescue. He needs a home with adopters who are gentle and will give him time to adjust to a new home. Once he decides you’re okay, he will want to stick close to you. Also, a quieter environment with children 10 years or older would probably be better since he still tends to run away if pursued.
