ABSOLUTELY PRECIOUS! Meet RAISIN, an adorable mix of Chihuahua and dachshund (‘chiweenie’). Born in mid-June, this tiny pup weighs about 5 lbs.  She’s now the perfect age to start crate-training as the first step toward house training, but must have potty breaks every 3 to 4 hours. She’s also a little shy, so needs lots of attention and exposure to new people, places and situations to help her become a well rounded adult dog. For that reason, we’re looking for a home where one of the adults doesn’t work or works only part-time; where the adults work different shifts, or there’s a retiree in the household. If you have the time, love and patience for this little love bug, please apply online at our website: www.savethestrays.org. Adoption fee: $200. Please note: we don’t adopt young puppies to households with children under the age of 7.
